Pastoral care is, at its heart, the ministry of presence – walking with people until they can once again experience the Good Shepherd who has been walking with them all along.

For decades, God has faithfully led Nichole through seasons of preschool ministry, children’s ministry, teaching, discipleship, counseling, and pastoral leadership. Along the way, she has learned that ministry is less about having all the answers and more about faithfully pointing people to Christ. Whether celebrating life’s joys or walking with others through grief, illness, uncertainty, or loss, her desire is to embody the compassion, hope, and presence of Jesus.

Nichole believes God continues to form us through every season of life. Having experienced His faithfulness through both joyful and difficult seasons, she considers it a sacred privilege to come alongside others as they discover that they are never alone. Her prayer is that every person entrusted to her care would encounter the love of Christ, the comfort of His presence, and the hope that only He can give.

Nichole earned a Master of Divinity in Family Ministry from George W. Truett Theological Seminary and additional training in biblical counseling and Christian ministry. She remains a lifelong learner, always seeking to grow in wisdom, compassion, and faithfulness as she serves others.

Nichole and her husband, Troy, live in Burnet, Texas. Their greatest joy outside of ministry is their growing family, which includes two sons, two wonderful daughters-in-law, and one granddaughter.

Outside of ministry, Nichole enjoys reading, writing, teaching, listening to good music, and taking long walks. She continues to be amazed that God chooses ordinary people to participate in His extraordinary work, and she is deeply grateful that His faithfulness, not her own, has carried her through every season of life and ministry.
