Lindsey is from San Marcos and is a graduate of San Marcos Baptist Academy. She always knew that she would lead a life of service where she could share her love of Jesus with others. Although she was not sure exactly where God would lead her, she kept the scripture Mathew 5:16 in her heart, “Let your light shine before men.”
While attending Howard Payne University, Lindsey served as Chaplain of Gamma Phi Beta honor society, an officer in the HPU Student Government Association, and served on the Executive Committee for Pi Theta Chi, where she mentored young women. She graduated summa cum laude in May 2025 with a BAAS in Christian Studies, where she received the first HPU Children’s Ministry Award. Lindsey intends to pursue her master’s degree in Youth and Family Studies.
Lindsey has served with the Texas Baptist Special Friends, Aldersgate Enrichment Center, and Chatfield Senior Center. She has an interest in children, youth, and special needs ministry as well as elder care advocacy.
In August 2025, Lindsey celebrated her first anniversary with her husband, Reece. Their love story began in Marble Falls when they were 14 and her family was living locally, providing Hospice Care to her grandfather. In God‘s timing, they reconnected, and Reece joined Lindsey at HPU.
Growing up, Lindsey spent summers at her grandparents’ ranch south of Abilene. She has a lifelong love of horses. She has two Palominos named Taffy and Honey. As animal lovers, Lindsey and Reece have rescued two kittens, Stella and Sophie, and a red healer, Leroy. Lindsey loves traveling, being outdoors, fishing, playing board games, and spending time with her family. Lindsey is thrilled to be a part of the FBCMF family.
