What can I expect?
You can look forward to a time of celebration and worship as we gather to reflect on Jesus’s death, burial, and resurrection. Easter services are typically around an hour in length.
We are glad you are here! The olive tree you received is a Little Ollie dwarf olive (Olea europaea), a beautiful, low-maintenance evergreen that symbolizes peace, abundance, and new life, a fitting reminder of what Easter is all about.
We hope it serves as a living token of that invitation: just as this little tree puts down roots and grows, we’d love for you to find a place to put down roots with us or another church in our community.
To help your tree thrive, give it full sun (6–8+ hours daily) and water it only when the top 1–2 inches of soil feel dry. Overwatering is the most common misstep, so when in doubt, hold off. Use fast-draining soil, and if it’s in a container, check the moisture every 3-5 days in summer and make sure the pot has drainage holes. Each spring, add a slow-release balanced fertilizer before new growth appears, and prune in late winter to keep its lovely compact shape. With a little attention, your Little Ollie can thrive for years.
