Everyone Everywhere Missions Month

Sunday, November 7

We kick off Everyone Everywhere Missions Month by asking you to bring a new or slightly used coat to donate and help those in need in our community. These coats will be given to mostly children and a few adults. We will have boxes for the different sizes of coats for you to place as you come that Sunday. These coats will be collected all week long.

We are also giving out free Everyone Everywhere t-shirts, be sure to grab one in the Great Hall!

Our Morning Worship will be led the Mosaic Church Praise Team, one of our church plants that is located in San Antonio, TX. It is a family of messy individuals that have found hope in Jesus, and simply want as many people as possible to experience that exact same freedom.

Sunday, November 14

Missions Fair
(No Bible Fellowships)

This week’s focus is our Missions Fair. We will have booths in the Koinonia Room and the Great Hall of all ministries that you can be a part of in our community and around the world. Also this Sunday we will be asking you to bring canned goods for our Food Pantry and special food baskets for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Items you can bring include:
Canned vegetables
Boxed Mac & Cheese
Peanut Butter
Dried Pinto Beans (1 or 2 pound size)
Rice (1 or 2 pound size)
Canned soup/chili

We will have great breakouts that you can learn and grow from: a Mission Trip Escape Room Experience (Register Here to save your spot), a station dedicated to the writing of letters to church plants and missionaries around the world, and a one-minute testimony training.

Our Morning Worship will be led Psalmony Band, a Gospel group of members from different backgrounds. They have joined together to reach out to all nations, through their various musical talents. Their main goal is to share the gospel through music.

Sunday, November 21

On our last week of Missions Month, we will be challenged to be a part of God’s work in our community and around the world. God has called each of us to Go and share the message of Christ that changes lives.  Whether you feel called to minister in our community or travel around the world, this Sunday you can sign up to be a part of God’s ministries.

This Sunday we will be collecting new socks and diapers for those in need.  Although seemingly small, these items will help in tremendous ways. We are also going on a Prayer Walk after second service at The Mission Center on Avenue R to write Scriptures and Prayers on the studs of the building still in construction!

Our Morning Worship will be led by The Refuge Praise Band from Houston Baptist University.
This is a very diverse group of college students that lead worship for convocation at Houston Baptist and travel through the state sharing the love of Christ through song. They desire to be to the world and to the body of Christ, a beautiful mosaic of believers who want to make God’s love known to all.
