This is our community evangelistic events. The primary purpose of these events is to reach out to our community in love and support by showing them Jesus. Events include the Home Outreach Ministry Event, Christian Community Car Care event, and the Community Block Party and Rummage Sale. We have touched thousands of lives in the greater Marble Falls area with these powerful events. We are also involved in several local ministry projects around the Highland Lakes area, such as, Joseph’s Pantry, Mission Marble Falls, Creative Hearts, FBCMF Food Panty, and several others.
PRISON MINISTRY
The Prison Ministry of the FBCMF consists of two 12-week courses, offered to the women at the Ellen Halbert Unit in Burnet, Texas. The first course Experiencing God by Henry Blackaby is offered in the fall, and the second course Making Peace with your Past by Tim Sledge is offered in the spring. The women in this facility are drug offenders and many have a Christian background. They are hungry for the Word and are very receptive and appreciative of the classes. Facilitators receive as many blessings as the women do. The main purpose of this ministry is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ and to help these women stay on a drug-free path after their release from prison.
CHURCH PLANTING
FBCMF has recently adopted a new church plant in San Antonio, Texas. Rock Point Church will be planted in the Cibolo area of San Antonio. This new church plant will be led by pastor and church planter, Matt Jefferies. Our church will have the exciting opportunity to assist with this new church start as we partner with them in ministry. CREATIVE HEARTS
Tuesdays 9 am – 3 pm. They make quilts for soldiers and hospitals and a variety of other items that are donated to various organizations around the community, state and globe. Please call the church office for more info.
